About Myra

I am a chemistry tutor with over 5 years of experience and hold a BSc in Applied Chemistry. My background is in electrochemistry, and I am passionate about its applications in energy storage and conversion. I focus on topics such as redox reactions, batteries, fuel cells, and corrosion. In my lessons, I aim to make these concepts clear and engaging, connecting theory to real-world applications. I work with students interested in renewable energy, materials science, and chemical engineering, showing how electrochemistry drives technological innovation. My teaching emphasizes both conceptual understanding and practical problem-solving skills. I use examples, visualizations, and exercises to help learners see the principles behind energy storage and chemical transformations. Lessons are tailored to individual goals, ensuring steady progress and growing confidence. I encourage questions, discussion, and critical thinking to deepen comprehension. My goal is to help students understand not just the chemistry, but also its impact on modern technology. Together, we explore the reactions and processes that power our world. I invite learners to join me in discovering the exciting science behind energy, materials, and innovation.

About the lesson

My teaching approach in chemistry is gentle, reflective, and focused on understanding the mathematical foundations of the subject. I guide students through physical chemistry, chemical thermodynamics, quantum mechanics in chemistry, and statistical mechanics. Each lesson emphasizes clarity, step-by-step reasoning, and connecting theory to practical examples.

I encourage learners to explore concepts deeply, asking questions and reflecting on each step. I provide guidance that helps students develop their own approach to complex problems while fostering curiosity and critical thinking. Lessons are structured to make abstract ideas tangible and meaningful.

For students interested in research or creative applications, I support them in finding their unique perspective and building confidence in handling advanced theories. I use examples, problem-solving exercises, and visualizations to make learning interactive. My approach nurtures both analytical skills and a sense of wonder about the chemical world.

By combining theory with practice, I help students uncover the underlying principles of chemistry and understand its core logic. Together, we explore molecules, reactions, and energy landscapes in a way that is engaging and insightful. My goal is to make chemistry not only understandable but also a source of inspiration and intellectual satisfaction.
