With well over a decade of experience and a Masters from Trinity College of Music in London, Simon has performed professionally across the UK, Europe & China and has taught both young and old students

I first met Simon many years ago when he visited as a client. ( I am a luthier ) Since that time my husband and I have become good friends with Simon.
I also play on an amateur level. Simon has very kindly given me some lessons on the violin here and there over the years, and was very insightful in the way he taught and explained things. I definitely improved! Very grateful for his patience!.

I have been very lucky to go and hear Simon play professionally in concerts on many occasions over the years. I am totally blown away by his playing. Talented man! He’s is also currently a very under-known but gifted composer. ( watch this place I think !) great stuff, I am sure he could easily teach this too.



I am honoured that such a wonderful player asked me to make his viola and my husband and I to make his violin as a collaboration.

We know Simon both professionally and on a friendship basis over the years. I feel comfortable in saying he would be a trustworthy tutor.

Simon taught me for a year before I left for university, and it was great fun. I learned more specific and technical aspects of playing, as well as playing music which I enjoyed. On top of learning a lot from him, we also had good conversations about music which was fulfilling to be treated as an adult even though he was my tutor. I’d highly recommend him as a superprof, as you’d learn a lot as well as enjoy yourself.
