About Leigh Mary
I first started sewing when I was 9 years old. And I haven’t stopped. I’m an upcycle designer on Etsy for 12 years. My brand DreamskyPatchworks creates refashion kits for easy creative repair. We also make one-of-a-kind appliqués and sell all kinds of fabric art kits. I’m an activist for less textile waste and help people with creative upcycle projects. For example, a well-known Fort Collins philanthropist wanted aprons made from old 80s window treatments when she redecorated. Aprons Sisters, daughters, granddaughters, friends all received unique upcycled retro aprons for Christmas last year.

30 years. Nearly every kind of sewing machine. I’m partial to older ones but whatever you have, trust me it’s not broken and your bobbin is most likely fine. One hour. That's all it takes for me to have you be CEO of your sewing machine and be confidently creating whatever your imagination dreams up. Stop being intimidated by your machine — Sew let’s go! If you want to have a 2-hour lesson, I’ll show you how to make a bag
