About Norton
I have been studying German in a language school for 10 years, having completed MYP German proficient level, IB German language B and Goethe exams A2 and B1 in all areas and B2 in speaking, listening and reading. This labels me at a fluent level at German. As I attended a language school, my German lessons were taught by teachers whose mother tongue was German with no English at all spoken in the lessons, therefore I was fully immersed in the German language. I was also taught humanities (history and geography) in German for 7 years and maths in German for 3, therefore I have experience with German outside of the subject itself.

I will be following the GCSE syllabus for German, as well as providing extra assistance if needed relating to German grammar. I will be able to provide assistance wherever the student needs it the most, however as standard I will roughly follow the syllabus combined with my own experience studying German. I possess various native German textbooks and grammar books, which I will occasionally use for reading extracts or grammar activities. The length of the lessons would be 30 minutes to an hour. I have experience as a teaching assistant whilst on work experience in a school. The lessons would be aimed at GCSE students at all stages of the course.
