About Luke

I've been a professional video editor for 6+ years, and I've had experience editing many different short films, promotional videos, and so much more. I am a patient teacher who walks with you at your own pace. I'm passionate about giving you the practical knowledge to excel in video editing, whether it's for you to use personally or professionally.

About the lesson

Have you always wanted to learn how to edit videos? I'm here to teach you everything you need to know about video editing in Davinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro. Since Davinci Resolve is a free video editor, it's the perfect place to get started in video editing.

To start, I will assess your level of experience, and then we can go from there in making a plan to help you to be able to edit your own full videos. By the end of our lessons, you'll have an in-depth knowledge of how to edit videos.

If you would like to learn another program besides Davinci Resolve or Premiere Pro, I can also teach you how to use it.

Perfect! Luke has been outstanding! It can't be easy to teach video editing skills online - Luke has demonstrated wonderful patience and know-how despite not having used PowerDirector previously. PowerDirector seems to be a program that isn't as popular - however, it is what I've purchased on the recommendation of a friend. When I reached out to Luke, he felt he could teach me what I needed to know on PD. In advance of our sessions, he studied up and got familiar with the program. So impressed! With each lesson, he reviews what we covered in the previous lesson, answers any questions and then moves on. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Luke to anyone wanting to learn video editing.
