About Sara
I am a passionate fibre artist, knitter, and crocheter who enjoys helping others develop creative skills in a supportive and welcoming environment. I have delivered craft community events including knitting and crochet sessions that encourage creativity, wellbeing, and community engagement. These sessions have allowed me to work with learners from diverse backgrounds, tailoring activities to different skill levels and learning styles.
My teaching approach is patient, practical, and learner-focused. Whether you are picking up a crochet hook or knitting needles for the first time, or looking to develop more advanced techniques, I provide step-by-step guidance to help you build confidence and achieve your creative goals. My knitting and crochet lessons are friendly, relaxed, and tailored to your individual needs and goals. I provide step-by-step guidance at a pace that suits you. Lessons cover essential skills such as understanding yarn and tools, creating a variety of stitches (Knit: Purling and Knitting/Crochet: Single, half double, and double crochet stitches) in either knitting or crochet, including casting on and casting off, and increasing and decreasing. I aim to build your confidence, creativity, and enjoyment of knitting or crochet while helping you achieve tangible results. All ages and skill levels are welcome, and lessons can be adapted to suit specific interests and project goals.
