About Jayne
I am a passionate flute instructor with over 8 years of teaching background, helping students grow steadily in their musical journey. I teach flute to school students, college learners, and working professionals at beginner to advanced levels. My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, clarity, and consistency.
I emphasize breath control, tone production, finger flexibility, and rhythm accuracy. For advanced learners, I include expressive phrasing and articulation control. In addition to performance skills, I teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm training, and ear development to create complete musicians.
I customize lessons according to each student’s learning style and goals. My unique skill is motivating students to practice regularly and build confidence for live performances.

My flute teaching is centered on Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity to ensure each student receives personalized attention.
Flute playing requires breath discipline and technical control. I focus on exercises that improve lung capacity, tone stability, embouchure control, finger agility, and intonation accuracy. Regular scale practice and articulation drills form the core of my lessons.
I adapt my methods depending on how students learn best. Some benefit from written exercises, while others improve through listening and repetition. I design lesson materials that suit their preferences.
Flexibility helps me adjust the difficulty level and learning pace. I introduce classical pieces, light music, devotional songs, or contemporary melodies based on interest.
Collaboration plays an important role. I involve students in goal setting and encourage duet practice when possible. This builds teamwork and listening skills.
Positivity ensures that learning remains enjoyable. I guide students patiently through challenges and motivate them to practice consistently.
