About Arthur
Teaching flute has been my passion for over 12 years. During this journey, I have worked with school students, college students, and working professionals who have different musical goals and learning needs. I believe music education should be inspiring, enjoyable, and accessible to everyone.
My teaching philosophy combines communication, patience, creativity, and encouragement. I create lessons that match each student's strengths and areas for improvement. I explain musical concepts clearly and provide practical exercises that make learning easier and more enjoyable.
Besides flute, I teach music theory, ear training, rhythm practice, beginner keyboard, breathing exercises, sight reading, music appreciation, and performance preparation. These supporting subjects help students develop complete musical understanding.
I focus on improving breathing, posture, finger coordination, rhythm, tone quality, and musical expression. I also help students build confidence for stage performances through regular practice and guidance. My aim is to help students enjoy every step of their musical journey.

My teaching philosophy is to make flute lessons engaging, practical, and enjoyable for every student. I use Communication, Accountability, and Integrity to build a learning environment where students feel encouraged to develop their musical abilities with confidence.
I teach the fundamentals carefully, including posture, breathing, embouchure, finger placement, and tone development. After mastering these basics, students continue with rhythm, scales, note reading, articulation, dynamics, musical expression, and performance techniques. Lessons are adjusted according to each student's learning speed and goals.
Communication helps students understand every lesson while encouraging open discussions and active participation. Accountability develops discipline through regular practice, goal setting, and continuous progress reviews. Integrity ensures that I provide honest feedback, patient guidance, and equal encouragement to every learner.
In addition to flute, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Staff Notation, Sight Reading, Rhythm Studies, Breath Control, Performance Skills, Instrument Care, Music Appreciation, and Effective Practice Methods. These additional subjects improve musical understanding and strengthen performance skills.
My objective is to help students become confident flute players who enjoy learning, perform with expression, and continue growing through dedication and practice.
