In my years of experience in teaching, I have discovered that some students take English Language less seriously. Some even lose interest in it, fearing that the English Language is a difficult subject. However, my teaching skills include first removing that fear away from students mind and opening their eyes and mind towards the beauty of learning this subject. Doing this will help a student to study without an iota of fear.
While teaching, I always make use of the power of imagination by giving illustrations to make the student understand the topic. I also take my classes in the form of a discussion class by interacting with the students and asking questions to know how fully they understand what am teaching.
Assignments and classwork are always given to make the students read more on the topic when they get home and I also encourage students to do more findings and research on the topic. This helps them a lot to have a wider understanding and knowledge of what I'm teaching them.
