About Sherry

I graduated from a professional teacher's college with a Bachelor of Arts degree. After four years of professional training and learning, I can teach more professionally. I have a B2 certificate of IELTS and a Level 1 certificate of Mandarin. At the same time, I have a Chinese teacher's certificate. I can communicate across languages and make learning easier for learners by various means.

About the lesson

Welcome to A Week in China, my self-designed immersive Chinese course where language learning meets storytelling, cultural discovery, and real-life missions.
Step into the story, explore everyday life in China, and complete fun tasks in situations like taking the subway, shopping at the supermarket, and visiting a hospital—all while learning practical Chinese along the way.
Through interactive missions, cultural exploration, Chinese character cards, and handwriting practice, you'll discover not only how to speak Chinese, but also the stories and culture behind the language.
Ready to start your adventure? Book a lesson with Sherry and let's explore China together!

You are not shy to speak up during class and always keep a positive attitude, that’s great! You’re also quite quick to catch on to new things. If you keep this up and keep practicing more, I’m sure you’ll keep getting better and better. Stay confident, and you’ve definitely got great potential to shine!

Although it's just the beginning, you have been studying very seriously and you are aware of your own problems. I believe that we can quickly adapt to each other and improve your Chinese proficiency later.

Perfect! I first met Sherry on TikTok, and from the very beginning she has been a true blessing. She not only checked in to see how I was doing but also built a welcoming community that brought people together from all over the world. During my very first official class with her, she helped me so much with the basics. Sherry is patient, kind, and truly professional in her teaching. When I struggled with a final, she showed me practical techniques to improve my pronunciation, which made a huge difference. She is prompt, supportive, and creates an environment where I felt comfortable. I was never insecure, even when I was having a hard time. What stands out most is how much she understands the importance of learning another language and the opportunities it creates, especially as a teacher. Sherry has been consistently encouraging, uplifting, and dedicated. I'm grateful for her support and highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn Chinese.

I have been learning Chinese with Sherry for about two years, and I can't recommend her enough.

Before starting to learn Chinese, I thought it'd be an uphill struggle. Such a hard language!
But with Sherry, it's fun and natural. She's passionate about learning, patient, and calm. Learning becomes easier. On top of that, she talks about Chinese culture, history and people. So you don't only learn the language but also about the country.

You are sure to learn Chinese with Sherry in a fun and relaxed way!

I taught students mainly from middle school students to adults.

I have 6 years of offline teaching experience and 4 years of teaching Chinese as a foreign language teacher. The online teaching time is more than 3000+ hours.
