I run realistic roleplay constantly, practising vendor negotiations, client check-ins, and handling last-minute problems calmly, since these situations came up regularly in my own real work. Grammar gets taught through polite, professional phrasing, since tone and diplomacy matter enormously in service and hospitality contexts where I spent years working directly. Listening practice includes real conversational speech at natural pace, since clients and vendors never spoke slowly or clearly for anyone's convenience during actual events. I teach students to stay calm and diplomatic under pressure, a skill years of live event management taught me matters more than almost anything else.
