About Khushi
Hi, I'm Khushi, a London-based tutor and postgraduate student at Warwick Business School, where I am completing my MSc in Marketing and Strategy. I have been tutoring students independently since 2020, and over four years I have worked with learners across IGCSE, ICSE, and CBSE curricula in both one-to-one and group settings, consistently helping students achieve an average grade improvement of 20% year on year.
I am passionate about education because I know first-hand what it feels like to navigate a new academic environment. Having grown up within the Indian school system before moving to the UK for my postgraduate studies, I bring a level of empathy to my teaching that goes beyond subject knowledge. I understand the pressure students face, and I know how to turn that pressure into progress.
My academic background gives me strong, credible subject knowledge across everything I teach. My Master's degree underpins my expertise in Economics, Business Studies, and Marketing, while my IELTS score of 8.5 out of 9 reflects a near-native command of English that parents and students can rely on when it comes to language support. I am equally comfortable working with a student who needs to rebuild their confidence from the ground up as I am stretching a high-achieving student who wants to go further than the syllabus requires.
I take my responsibility as a tutor seriously. Every student who works with me gets a prepared, punctual, and professional tutor who is genuinely invested in their progress. I do not just teach content; I build the skills, habits, and confidence that help students perform well long after our sessions end.

My lessons are designed for students from Key Stage 2 through to GCSE level (typically ages 7 to 16), covering English Language and Literature, Hindi, Social Sciences, Economics, Business Studies, Marketing, Creative Writing, and Maths up to Year 9. Whether a student is struggling to keep up, preparing for exams, or simply wants to get ahead, I tailor every session to where they are and where they need to be.
Before our first lesson, I take time to understand each student's current level, their school's expectations, and what is holding them back. From there, I put together a personalised study plan that gives our sessions structure and direction. I do not work through whatever a student happens to bring on the day; I come prepared with targeted exercises, worked examples, and questions chosen specifically for that student. I also ask students to explain concepts back to me in their own words, because that is the most reliable way to catch gaps early and build genuine understanding rather than surface-level familiarity.
I track progress consistently and keep parents informed, so everyone knows what is improving and what still needs work. Lessons are typically 60 minutes, though 90-minute sessions are available for students who need more intensive support or exam preparation.
I have been tutoring independently since 2020, hold an MSc from Warwick Business School, and scored 8.5 out of 9 on my IELTS. Having navigated two different school systems myself, I understand what it feels like to find academic content challenging, and I bring both patience and a structured, no-nonsense approach to help every student make real, measurable progress.
