About Uma
I have been giving extra lessons for 3 years in different subjects to high school students. English is my mother language and I have taken IB Higher Level English in my high school, the highest level possible. I can provide tutoring for people who want to learn English but can also teach in English in other subjects such as biology. Usually my students scored 2 points (out of 10) higher after having had extra lessons with me.

I usually base my lessons on what the student learns at school and on their homework and usually make extra exercises based off those things. If it's more about speaking, I usually have the student choose a subject they're interested in and talk about that. I also make vocabulary lists that they can learn. When it comes to writing, I help them with essay writing and check their grammar. We can also do grammar exercises.
