About Martha
Graduating from Trinity Laban Conservatoire with a BMus in Music Performance provided the technical foundation for my 13 years of teaching. Truthfully, I still find the human voice to be a mysterious and complex instrument to navigate. Whether you are a nervous beginner or a veteran preparing for grade exams, my approach focuses on genre styling, diction, and microphone technique.
I enjoy helping students refine their rhythm, phrasing, and pitch control through careful warm-up exercises. My goal is to ensure you feel supported as we work together on your artistry. You can expect a steady and patient environment while we address your vocal goals.

Singing well often feels quite uncomfortable at the very beginning of a session. Getting the sound right requires a mix of physical coordination and mental release that takes practice to master.
We will spend time on genre styling and stage fear management to build your confidence in a safe space. I integrate sight singing and specific warm up exercises to prepare your instrument for the material.
You might find that we spend a portion of the time focusing on diction or articulation to clarify your performance. It is a steady process of building habits. We will keep the energy balanced and focused on your progress.
