About Julia
I have been singing in a choral and solo setting for almost 20 years. I have 4 years of experience as a choir teacher and 3 years of experience as a vocal coach. I love working with singers to build their confidence and cultivate their sound in a way that fits who they are as a singer. When it comes to singing there is no type of music that I don't love. There is something fun about every genre. However, I do find myself gravitating towards jazz, folk, musical theater, punk, and rock the most.

About the lesson

We will work on reading music, sight singing, matching pitch, harmonizing, vocal intonation, and vocal performance. We will also work on breath support, projection, and diction along with musicality. Music can vary among all sorts of genres and you can learn to cultivate different styles and techniques.
