I am very professional with my students. My goal is for my students to succeed at whatever I’m teaching. I go above and beyond to assure your understanding of technique, materials and Pertinent information. One of my policies: if the student makes mistakes…and they will…we will fix them together. I have a lifetime of experience in the visual arts. I come from a family of artists. I taught elementary school art for 34 years. This included drawing, painting, printmaking, graphics, ceramics, textiles, art history and appreciation, sculpture+
On the college level Ceramics, Art Appreciation and 2-D and 3-D design
I am a professional Potter and I specialize in handbuilding functional pieces. I make my own press molds. I also throw, make my own glazes and fire my own electric kiln.
