About Ilana
I have been a professional violinist for the past 10 years, and have had 7 years of teaching experience. I enjoy teaching kids of all ages. My students have made it to advanced violin in high school and successfully lead school orchestras.

My teaching approach goes based off of where the student is at. I am really interested in what music the student listens to, what interested them in playing an instrument in the first place, and what they would like to accomplish (their goals). Equally important, is what songs they would like to play or eventually be able to play.
