About Leon
Hello! I'm Leon and I'm a professional violinist and violist based in North London. Having played the violin since I was 7 with 15+ years performance experience, I'm very passionate about showing others how rewarding and exciting music making can be! I graduated from the Royal College of Music in London and have also studied at the Universitaet fuer Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna and the Hochschule fuer Musik und Theater in Hamburg, which has allowed me to draw inspiration from a multitude of cultures and playing styles from different professors, but also from my peers. I am dedicated to providing a lesson that suits your needs and goals and motivates you to keep on making music!

About the lesson

- Lessons will be between 30-60 minutes depending on the needs of the pupil - I take on pupils of all ages, it's never too late to try out an instrument! - I have 2 years teaching experience, in which I have developed a methodology that focuses on improving the student's ability to express what they would like on the instrument. This is achieved by working on technical basics, such as posture and finding a natural, comfortable way to hold the instrument, as well as developing the student's aural ability and creativity in their pieces.
