About Rayna
Considering the breadth of my 13 years of experience, I often reflect on the technical precision required for high-level string playing. Having graduated from Yale, I apply those rigorous training methods while working with 223 students. My approach covers shifting positions and intonation alongside fundamental bowing technique. I value consistent posture and hold for all my students.
Helping you develop left-hand agility remains a primary focus of my teaching. You will find my style calm and structured during our sessions.

Setting your violin on your shoulder correctly marks the beginning of our work on sound production. I observe your posture closely to ensure your intonation stays accurate as we move through different shifting positions. After 13 years of experience, I know exactly when to adjust your bow grip to improve your tone.
Tuning by ear becomes a natural part of our routine during these sessions. We balance rhythm and timing with physical comfort to keep you playing longer.
