About Peder
Having given lessons in Brazil during my trip with Oslo Camerata, I have not much teaching experience besides giving peers and students of my own age basic lessons in violin. I believe however that I can, judging from the very little experience I have, effectively change students perspective, making them inevitable a more effective player and a more technique conscious musician.

Peder believes technique is the groundwork for musical interpretation and focuses on bowing, posture and left-hand techniques to achieve this. He also works on basic repertoire as well, focusing on phrasing and musical understanding to bring your musicality to life.
Having had several different teachers himself, he believes being in touch with the student and letting them decide what is important for them is what is the most effective way of teaching.
