About Ashlyn
Graduating from the Cleveland Institute of Music provided the foundation for my 5 years of teaching. You will find that I prioritize the rigorous German violin tradition to build your technical command. My formal piano study also informs how I teach phrasing and musical structure to students.
I guide Suzuki beginners through shifting positions and complex scales with disciplined focus. Helping you prepare for competitive conservatory auditions remains my primary objective. Securing your place in a top program starts with the exact skills I provide.

Diagnostic assessment before setting the practice plan ensures every minute of our time together remains productive. I evaluate your current repertoire and sight reading to pinpoint specific mechanical weaknesses.
