About Ramya

I have always loved languages and the way they connect people and cultures. I know six languages and am currently learning Yugambeh, the language of the Kombumerri people here on the Gold Coast. Tamil is especially close to my heart. I love writing poems and articles in Tamil because it is one of the most beautiful ways for me to express my thoughts and feelings. As a Master of Social Work student at Griffith University, I enjoy connecting with people from different backgrounds. I would love to share my love for Tamil with you and help you discover its beauty, one word at a time!

About the lesson

My goal is to help you experience the beauty and sweetness of Tamil and fall in love with the language, just as I have. We will start with the letters and words, gradually moving towards speaking, reading, writing, and exploring Tamil culture. My teaching approach is friendly, simple, and interactive, with lessons tailored to your age, level, and learning pace. Lessons can be around 45–60 minutes, with plenty of practice and fun activities. As a native Tamil speaker and Master of Social Work student at Griffith University, I hope to create a comfortable space where you can learn with confidence. Whether you are a child, an adult, or a complete beginner, let’s learn Tamil together!
