About Abdul

I am a Medical Doctor and USMLE mentor who works primarily with Step 1 and Step 2 CK students struggling with inconsistency or score plateaus despite completing UWorld or First Aid.

During my own preparation, I passed USMLE Step 1 in 3.5 months and later scored 261 on Step 2 CK, followed by successful completion of Step 3 with a short, focused preparation period. This journey shaped how I understand the exam and how I teach it. I learned early that USMLE rewards judgment, structure, and pattern recognition far more than memorization.

As a tutor, I am known for helping students correct the recurring thinking errors that quietly limit scores, such as misreading stems, missing the core diagnosis, overthinking simple questions, or falling for distractors. About the lesson

If your NBME scores are stuck in the 220s despite completing UWorld or First Aid, this is rarely a content problem. It is a question interpretation and decision making problem.

I help Step 1 and Step 2 CK students restructure how they approach USMLE style questions so their scores move consistently. Many of my students have improved from the low 220s into the 250s and 260s by fixing how they read stems, identify the core diagnosis, and eliminate distractors under time pressure.

Our sessions are not lectures. We work directly on your NBME or UWorld blocks to identify your personal error patterns. These often include misreading key clues, overthinking, premature closure, or choosing answers that feel right but are not exam correct.
