About Xaviera
I've been teaching for 5 years, but not constantly. As a matter of fact I have worked with friends who ask for help, therefore I have trained only two students. With my classes I have seen great improvement in both oral and written performance in those two students, especially since my teaching is not based on memory or repetition, but on understanding the logic of the language and thus be able to continue learning without the need to have a teacher for life.

I am Xaviera, 4th year student majoring in Translation at Universidad de Santiago de Chile. My classes are thought for all ages and objectives, from basic English to advanced English. Particularly, I like to support everything related with oral expression, such as pronunciation, intonation or simply conversational English. My techniques vary depending on the student. First, an initial evaluation is always good and then see where to start. Generally it is a lot of practice focused on weaknesses, work with logic and real exercises, the theory is not my thing. As a teacher I have worked with children and high school, always based on practice, real understanding of the subject, the association with Spanish and above all, based on perseverance.
