About Hannah
Hi, I'm Hannah! I'm currently studying a bachelor's of music - Music Education at the University of Toronto. The harp is my primary instrument and I've been playing since the age of 4, yet I have more experience teaching piano and music theory! I am so passionate about helping people of all ages discover the joy and importance of playing music and understanding music. I look forward to helping you grow as a musician and achieve your goals!

I welcome students of all ages and experience levels from beginner to advanced. I understand that learning music can be exciting and challenging, so I aim to make each lesson supportive, engaging, and enjoyable. I help students develop strong practice habits, problem-solving skills, and an appreciation for music that extends beyond the lesson.
Each lesson is structured but flexible depending on the students needs! For harp (lever and pedal) and piano:
- Warm-up exercises and technical development
- Review of material
- Learning and refining repertoire
- Developing musicality, technique, rhythm, and interpretation
- Goal setting and practice strategies
- Preparation for RCM examinations
For music theory:
- Notation, rhythm, harmony, ear training, analysis, etc. from beginner to a grade 10 RCM level. Lessons can be tailored towards RCM students.
