About Ling

I graduated from UNSW Electrical Engineering, now in the process of my PR application, that is why I have a flexible schedule to give Mandarin lessons. I enjoy teaching, have been teaching since September, already having several constant students, and I'm proud to say that they are improving impressively.

About the lesson

As a new teacher, I follow the most notable and suitable textbook I can find, which is "Great Wall Chinese" and its workbooks. It's not too academic so it won't bore you out, it's not too easy, so it won't give you a weak knowledge foundation.

I tend to give homework because I'm sure every learner have to practice what they've learned and to know what kind of mistakes they tend to make, fixing your mistakes is what makes you a perfect learner.

Ling and I studied together in uni. She was always quick to complete her assignments and helped me complete them. Ling is very fluent in Mandarin and English, she would take down notes in Mandarin and help her peers from her country who were weak in English in their assignments. Ling is confident and never shies away from getting her doubts cleared from the professor. Ling loves her culture and always urges me to try different Chinese cuisines and watch Chinese movies. I have learnt so much from her in a short span of time. I would strongly recommend Ling to you because she has a big heart and is passionate about teaching.
