• Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

  The first time I laid my hands on a computer, I was just a little kid. I don't remember much about it, so let me tell you about the time I wrote my very first line of code instead. It happened back in 2019 when I tried my hand at Python and typed out those magical words: print("Hello World!"). Right then and there, I was hooked. I realized that with computers, the possibilities were endless. It's been a little over four years now, and I still get a kick out of grinding away and exploring new concepts every single day. As a programmer and someone who's crazy about tech, I see myself as a lifelong learner, always hungry for more knowledge.

• What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?

  I think AI will change, in many ways, the way we live. We're at a point in the world where we have so much data and we can do so much with it. These AI systems are promising. It is exciting to see where this all will take us as a human race

• Explain your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.

  I am a highly motivated data analyst who is deeply passionate about leveraging data to drive informed decision-making. In today's technological landscape, we find ourselves at a pivotal juncture where the sheer computing power enables us to store and process unprecedented volumes of data. However, the true value of data lies in our ability to analyze it effectively and extract meaningful insights.
  
  My expertise primarily lies in utilizing languages such as Python and R, which offer robust tools and libraries to facilitate comprehensive analysis of diverse datasets. Additionally, proficiency in SQL is crucial as it empowers us to extract pertinent information from databases for our analytical endeavors.
  
  The roles of data analysts, data scientists, and machine learning engineers continue to expand and significantly shape various industries. As the world continues to generate an exponential amount of data, we harness its potential to drive improved decision-making processes. Moreover, we are currently in an era where the pursuit of super-intelligent models through AI is an exciting frontier within the field.
  
  Undoubtedly, this is an exhilarating time for professionals in the data domain as we navigate the complexities and immense opportunities presented by data-driven insights and advanced analytical techniques.

• Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?

  I think all these visionaries are leaders in the tech world. They understand very well where the world is headed and it's inspiring to see how often they're right. I follow Bill Gates' work a lot as he has changed the tech world completely, but I also admire all the work that he does with the foundation and how he tries to tackle the hardest problems that we now face in the world.
  
  Other than tech leaders, I also follow athletes as I relate with their attitude and how they deal with difficult situations. For example, Alex Honnold, an American Rock Climber. He is an inspiration to me for how he has achieved some incredible things such as free soloing El Captain. How he dealt with fear and how he kept pushing forward no matter what is just truly inspiring.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  I remember learning all the "programming fundamentals" in my early days at school and wondering how I was going to go from the "fundamentals" to more complex systems. Now I am happy that I spent so much time learning the fundamental concepts as those are the foundation of more complex systems.

• What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?

  I would agree. It is a complicated topic and only passion and discipline will get you where you want to be. I have been programming for over four years and I am not still where I want to be but I enjoy the process. So enjoy the process and let's get to work!

• What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?

  I enjoy reading, playing football and running. I have played football since I was 10 years old and still to this day!

• What makes you a Superprof in IT?

  I think my ability to understand where the student is struggling and helping them truly understand the concept. Many times students will come to a lesson because they're struggling with a subject but in many cases the students don't know where they're struggling so it's hard for them to understand the concept. I think what makes me a Superprof in programming is the ability to show my students where they struggle and how to overcome it.
