About Xinming
I am a University of Toronto student with experience in digital art, visual design, and creative projects. I have completed a paid logo design project and have developed my skills through independent practice in drawing, composition, color, and digital illustration.
I enjoy helping beginners understand visual ideas in a clear and approachable way. I am patient, attentive, and comfortable giving step-by-step guidance and constructive feedback.
Although I am new to formal art tutoring, I take each lesson seriously and prepare based on the student’s interests, experience level, and goals. My aim is to help students build confidence, improve their visual skills, and gradually develop their own creative style.

My lessons are designed for beginners who want to build confidence in drawing, digital art, and basic visual design.
Lessons can be adjusted based on each student’s interests and goals. We may explore topics such as composition, colour, shape, visual balance, character or object drawing, digital illustration, and simple design projects.
I focus on explaining ideas clearly and helping students understand why certain visual choices work. Students are encouraged to develop their own style rather than simply copy one fixed method.
Depending on the student’s needs, lessons may include demonstrations, guided practice, feedback on existing artwork, and step-by-step support with a personal project.
My goal is to create a relaxed and supportive environment where beginners feel comfortable experimenting, asking questions, and improving at their own pace.
