About Olivia
Hi! I am Liv, a second year university student who has been in various music lessons and drama groups from the age of 5. My favourite genres of music are rock and jazz (however I will listen to anything) and alongside being a vocalist, I play the piano and flute. I believe that a calm and positive environment is the best way to learn and how I want all our sessions to be; I will never put you down for trying. I always love to have a laugh and I hope that classes will be an enjoyable experience where you feel a sense of achievement at each stage. The hardest thing to do is start, and there is no shame in being a beginner in music lessons, it is a fun and rewarding thing to do. I look forward to meeting you!

Lessons would be 30 minutes or 1 hour, beginner to low grade classes. In these classes we would explore exercises to strengthen projection and vocal control, understand your voice type and range, find your genre strengths and create a confidence behind your voice. I have a diploma and grade 8 in musical theatre vocals, however, I am also trained classically and in jazz and rock vocals and completing a bachelor's with honours across multiple styles. Theory classes would also be 30 minutes or 1 hour, and catered to your learning style, however, I would encourage them to be practical 'work as you go' sessions to put knowledge into practice. I would be able to do classes up to grade 5.
