About Saeed
Maths has been my passion for years — so much so that I swapped a career as a dam designer (yes!) to become a full-time teacher and school leader. I trained to teach at the University of Oxford and have nearly a decade of experience, including founding my own tutoring institution. My engineering background means I love breaking down tricky concepts into clear, logical steps — and I’m always looking for practical ways to make maths click. Teaching isn’t just a job for me; it’s a mission to make maths understandable and even enjoyable. I’m all about tailoring lessons to each student’s needs, whether they want to boost confidence, ace exams, or just see how awesome maths can be. When I’m not teaching in the classroom, I’m tutoring online — helping students build skills and self-belief, one problem at a time.

I’m Oxford-trained with nearly a decade of experience teaching across six international curricula. As a qualified Maths teacher, school leader, and former dam designer, I bring real-world experience to my tutoring. I specialise in national exams like GCSE, A Level, and Further Maths, as well as international qualifications such as IGCSE, IB, and AP. My engineering background helps me quickly spot misconceptions and explain maths clearly and practically. Having taught many curricula means I can adapt my approach to meet the unique needs of each student. I use clear explanations, live worked examples, guided practice, and exam-style questions to build understanding and boost exam confidence. Lessons are usually 60 minutes online, but I’m happy to adjust the length depending on the student’s age and focus. Plus, you can record our lessons to review and revise anytime.
