About Waleed
I have taught math forover a year now, and have discovered that I have a knack for teaching as my students always seem to enjoy my lessons, and are able to demonstrate an improvement in their understanding and confidence. I am always upbeat, patient, and consider it my personal reponsibility to ensure that my students understand the subject matter just as well as I do, and that they do not view it as a painful, laborious task that they have to go through. Rather, I have managed to make sure my lessons are detailed, reasonably paced, but also fairly enjoyable. My teaching methodoly is built around ensuring that my students obtain a full and complete understanding of the concepts and subject matter, as Math is a subject that builds concepts upon themselves.
A typical lesson would include me introducing a topic, explaining the fundamental theory and steps to solve problems, followed by al illustration of a couple of examples. This would then lead into guided practice with the students to ensure that full understanding has been achieved.
With me, students and teachers can be assured that I will take a patient, fun, and clear approach with my students, so that they are able to cover easily whichever areas they are struggling with.
My expertise in teaching is upto and including an advanvced Grade 10 level Math.
