About Chris
I am Chris Palmer, a mastering engineer, producer and DJ with 25 years of experience. I have helped producers win awards for their work, helped the local industry to outsell international music and put producers on the map as global stars.
I have a diploma in Entertainment Technology from Wits Technikon, now part of the University of Johannesburg. I have worked with major stars like OMD Mango Groove, and have been training people on Ableton Live for many years.
I also use Native Instruments Traktor to DJ, as well as CDJ's, turntables and other controllers
I coach DJ's and performers to become better at their jobs, helping hone their production skills and DJ performance so that they make a much greater impact on their audience.

I teach my students how to create music on Ableton Live. I have been using Ableton to make music for over 15 years. I can help you to master music production easily and with solid skills. I am skilled in production and mastering techniques that will help you make your music sound professional and well produced.
I teach in English or Afrikaans.
Students can expect a lesson teaching both broad concepts for beginners, and more focused skills for the advanced. From basic keyboard skills to solid music theory, you can be learn to create easily and level up regularly.
Wherever you are in your learning skills, let me take you forward and help you to be the best you can be. I also have a background in DJing, so will be able to hone your performance skills as well.
