About Katie
I study Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge, and with many years helping friends through GCSEs and A Levels under my belt, I have decided to turn my hand to tutoring professionally! With 10 A*s and GCSE and 4 A*s at A level, I have a deep understanding of many concepts, and a knack for rephrasing even the most complicated concepts until they’re easily understandable.
With 97% on one of my A Level Chemistry exams, I have always found chemistry very enjoyable, and would love to be able to share some of that understanding !

I have always found the best way to build strong foundations for future learning, and to ensure success in examinations, is to understand topics from a logical standpoint.
I will happily approach any topics proposed by the student, so we can really hone in on any issues. If there are no specific problem areas, I find that past papers are by a mile the best way to practice and troubleshoot, so will work through them, taking apart each question so it is easily understandable.
I find that most senior school / college exam papers have recurring themes which, once identified, can be practiced until they are what some may call ‘easy marks’ when the time rolls around.

- £20 an hour for GCSE Chemistry
