About Francis
I graduated from the University of Cambridge (Trinity Hall), in 2020, with a first class BA in Music.
Since then, I've spent a year working at The Portsmouth Grammar School, helping with music theory lessons, rehearsing the school chamber choir, and working one-to-one with students receiving learning support. Alongside this, I was a choral scholar at Portsmouth Cathedral.
Previous teaching experience also includes working at a school in Nepal for a month with the Cambridge-based educational charity, HELP.

My approach is to work methodically from the start of a problem or topic, ensuring a thorough grounding in theoretical understanding before putting newly acquired skills into practice. I believe that understanding how and why things are the case puts the student in the best position to be able to tackle new problems when the arise.
