About Maxim
Hi there! My name is Maxim and I am a graduate in Medical Sciences from the University of Cambridge. I am a patient and understanding person, allowing me to adapt my style of guidance to people from all walks of life, ensuring every single person I work with gets the most out of my efforts. My desire to tutor stems from a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others. I believe that education is the bedrock of personal growth and success, and helping others to attain admission to their dream universities is a step towards enabling them to strive towards their full potential.

I believe in providing a completely tailored approach for each of my mentees, with a strong focus on providing support however works best for them. Together, I help build and guide my mentees through a strategy to bolster their university applications by highlighting their strengths and finding effective ways to address their weaknesses, ensuring their best chance of success. I have over 3 years' experience supporting both international (China & Hong Kong) and UK-based students with their university applications and subject knowledge, where I have often been specifically requested to support students due to my strong reputation. With respect to my admissions test experience; when applying to universities, I ranked within the top 1% of students for BMAT section 1 (critical thinking) and top 3% for BMAT Section 2 (subject knowledge). I also achieved A* A* A in my A-Levels (Maths, Chemistry, Biology). I received offers to study Medicine at Bristol, Newcastle, Sheffield and Cambridge. I also have an in-date DBS Check.
