About Millie
I am someone who always enjoyed school and saw going to University not only as a goal for my career but as a way to develop myself as a person.
During high-school I found it hard to learn in the way my teachers taught and so I took it upon myself to come up with better methods that would suit my learning style. I want to tutor as I think that struggling in school tarnishes everyone with the same brush of a ‘lack of effort’ but this was not the case for me and with the right support it hopefully won’t be for my future students

-For those struggling with concepts in the sciences I plan to come up with quizzes, interactive whiteboard walkthroughs and flashcard resources to help get to grips with the concepts of Biology and Chemistry.
-Lessons could be 1-2 hour sessions at a time but with breaks as studying for too long isn’t good for anyone.
-Suitable for high-school year 10 up to sixth form year 13.
-My GCSE qualifications include a 7 in Mathematics, 9 in Biology and Chemistry, 8 in Physics
-My A levels include AAA* in Chemistry, Biology and Criminology

Millie and I worked closely on topics in chemistry that I found challenging. The visual learning techniques she uses helped me expand my understanding in a fun way. She shared some of her own personal revision tactics some of which include mind mapping, revision cards and making good use of past papers.
