About Amanda
Hey! My name is Amanda and I'm currently an undergraduate nursing student. I've been working with kids for about 6 years now and aspire to be a pediatric cardiac nurse. I'm also a certified ABA therapist where I work with kiddos who have Autism and other various disabilities. A fun fact about me is that I love to surf, so the beach is my happy place. I'm super excited for the chance to meet you and I'm proud of you for taking a big step by logging on to Superprof to get tutoring!

The most important thing about my lessons is that they are adjusted to each individual student. I recognize that everyone learns in a different way and I will be sure to highlight that in my lessons! For my younger kiddos I try to make my lessons engaging, most of the time they don't even realize how much they've really learned. For my older students, as a college student I was just in your spot. I understand a lot of the pressures being put on you for college, so we'll take your work one step at a time. Overall, I just love to see each student grow!
