About Verena
I am a BA Fashion Journalism Student coming from Austria. I am 20 years old and have been tutoring for more than two years in Austria, and during my time abroad in Madrid. I have experience in tutoring children and teenagers aged 6-19. I do homework with them and prepare them for regular school exams, presentations as well as the final exams. I also have experience in teaching German as a second language.

I prepare the lessons individually. Therefore it is essential to know the student’s level and wishes. I first try to get a general idea of all the topics that are needed to cover. I work with materials (books, worksheets, etc.) a lot. Also, most lessons I divide into two sections: a theoretical part and a practical component, as it is very important for students to understand the grammar, spelling, etc.
Nevertheless, I am always open to adjusting my lessons to make it the most efficient for the student.
