I teach students by first of all understanding the learner's characteristics, that is the age, ability, interest learning pace etc after which I will apply the best method of teaching for the students.
The duration of my lesson is 1 hour 30 minutes because I have come to realize that if you teach at a certain length of time, the students will be exausted and diminishing return will set in.
