About Stephanie
I’m a UBC Psychology Major graduate who specialized in developmental psychology.
I’m very familiar with children and knows how to provide an engaging and focused class to children between the ages of 7 to 13. I also have many years of experience in academic writing, so I can definitely help older students with likewise activities.
In tutoring I have had over 3 years of experience teaching English to elementary ELL students as well as one year of teaching adults.

I am familiar with teaching children for about 1 to 1.5 hours.
Usually classes consist of:
- Review
- Lesson
- Activities/worksheets for students to practice their lesson
- Assign some homework so they can review their lesson throughout the week.
To test for proficiency level, the first class will be a quick test to see where they are and get to know the children and see what they are comfortable with.
