About Mollie
Hello! My name is Mollie, and I specialize in English and Essay Writing. I have a little under a year of experience in tutoring and mentoring. My academic background includes a high school diploma, and I am currently working on pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Analytics. I am passionate about helping students excel and achieve their academic goals through breaking down complex ideas. I specifically work with students in grades K-10, as well as all high school students preparing for AP exams. My sessions are always well-prepared and tailored to meet each student's needs and requests. I maintain a professional environment by providing constructive feedback and adapting my teaching style to suit all kinds of different learning types! I offer flexible scheduling, including mornings/evenings and weekends, to accommodate busy student lives.

A typical lesson will include a short 5-7 minute warm-up of a review from the previous content and what stood out the student, what they are still confused on, and a short ice breaker question to begin the session. Then we will go over the main concepts of the topic to introduce the content with examples and an interactive activity aligning with the topic. After that we will work through a few problems together to show how this concept is applied and then allow the student to practice applying the concepts on their own through a series of practice questions. To wrap up the session we will clarify any questions or topics that remain confusing to the student and preview the next topic that we will focus on in the next session.
