About Karolina
I am a fourth-year student of Mathematical and Physical Sciences at the University of Toronto. I have received a certificate of French Immersion from Cardinal Leger SS, and have experience tutoring Math, Physics, Chemistry, English, and French to students ages 6-18.

I have four years of experience teaching all ages, from kindergarten to grade 12.
My typical lesson plans for learning English skills include:
- introduction to new material (articles, stories, short videos, or grammatical lessons)
- demonstration of the usage of this material
- an opportunity for the student to demonstrate what they understood from the introduction
- correcting their understanding together
For high school level students interested in comprehension and revision of English literature lesson plans include:
- discussions of covered material (themes and close reading analysis)
- review of essays or other written assignments
I believe the best way to learn is from mistakes, so this method allows me to identify where confusion might be coming from, and explain why it should be done differently. This format allows me to efficiently determine how best to support the student.
