About Kristina
I am a committed and professional tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students succeed. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science (Kinesiology) and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Early Childhood Education, which allows me to combine subject knowledge with effective, research-based teaching practices.
I pride myself on being reliable, patient, and well-prepared for every session. I tailor my instruction to meet each student’s individual needs while maintaining a structured and supportive learning environment.
With knowledge of children’s literacy and a strong interest in math and science, I focus on building both academic skills and confidence. My goal is to create a positive experience where students feel supported, capable, and motivated to learn.

My teaching approach is student-centered, supportive, and engaging. I use a combination of hands-on learning, guided practice, and real-world connections to help students fully understand concepts, especially in literacy, math, and science.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review, followed by introducing new material in a clear and simple way. Students then practice with guidance, and we end with an activity or review to reinforce understanding. I always adjust lessons based on each student’s pace and learning style.
What sets me apart is my background in both science and early childhood education, along with my knowledge of children’s literacy. I am patient, encouraging, and focused on building confidence while making learning enjoyable.
My lessons are best suited for preschool and elementary students, as well as those who need extra support in reading, math, or science. I aim to create a positive space where students feel comfortable, capable, and motivated to learn.
