About Sharon
Most people assume that knowing a language equates to the ability to teach it. I admit that my initial classroom sessions were far more chaotic than the polished environment I maintain today.
Having worked with 326 students, I rely on my MA Translation Studies to bridge gaps in comprehension and writing. My expertise covers creative writing, IELTS and TOEFL exam preparation, and business English.
I assist learners with report writing and email structure to improve their professional presence. Developing conversational practice and reading comprehension skills remains my primary focus. I look forward to helping you reach your specific English language objectives soon.

Standardized tests require a different mindset than daily conversation because the rules are rigid and unforgiving. Following a rigid curriculum rarely serves the individual who needs targeted feedback on specific problem areas. I analyze student work to identify patterns in errors that might otherwise go unnoticed. These 9 hour sessions cater specifically to students who need to sharpen their performance under pressure.
I provide mock exam papers with detailed marking to demystify the grading process. Reading these reports allows us to address structural weaknesses in real time. We focus on clear communication in written and verbal formats until the material feels manageable.
