About Adelaja
Hello Scholar, my name is Ms. Esther, a trained elementary school teacher. I have worked in various schools instructing young stars to be the best learners they can be, I love to invest my energy to see my pupils raise above their limitations especially when it comes to reading, comprehension and a very good handwriting skill.
The results that I have gotten from my profession inspires me daily.
I love instructing because it gives me the opportunity to explore and meet amazing pupils with super amazing abilities particular to them. I'm friendly, and have a great understanding of different learning styles to make lessons interesting and fun for you.

From my personal research, I have discovered that majority of pupils that struggles with reading and comprehension have a faulty background knowledge of sounds which are the elements that make up a word. This has prompted my interest to further study phonics inorder to help children have a strong foundation in reading and also help those that are expected to read but are struggling. Considering the age range my services are directed to (there are exceptions to this, but majorly 3-7yrs. ) I do a quick assessment to note areas with difficulties that leads to inability or why a child is struggling with reading, then I begin tutoring from the very basic concepts such as sounds and digraphs Identification when necessary. Also, I use reading materials that are put together in a systematic approach (from simple to complex) to make the child approach reading with boldness and become a confident reader.
