• When did you start developing an interest in your subject area?

  24 years ago.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of and why?

  My Guru Lalitha garu and My boss Dr Gurava Reddy.

• What is the biggest obstacle you had to overcome in mastering your craft?

  The biggest obstacle I faced was when studying my masters along with practising my music sessions. I was a student at University campus and was working hard in lab. Used to attend labs with no time bound scales. I have faced a serious problem not getting time to practice my music. Soon I have learnt how to manage my time and started balancing college life - music practice sessions. Which helped me in my professional career both as a clinical researcher and enthusiastic music teacher since past 15 years.

• In your opinion, what makes someone excel in your subject area?

  Singing with enthusiasm and ease.

• What would you say to a student who says, "This is too difficult, I give up!"?

  I shall make them understand the importance of the lesson and the difficulty levels. I shall help them by teaching bit by bit. This is where patience of teacher is tested and one should not lose their cool on sculpting their student’s attitude towards tough lessons.

• How does someone become a Super Teacher?

  Working hard along with student, extensive research on new lessons / techniques / methods to keep their students updated, Teaching with ease. One should enjoy teaching. I thoroughly enjoy all my sessions. Teaching the art-math and science behind music is more recommended to teachers out there along with thorough explanation about the meaning of the Sahityam that they are learning.
