About Wendy
A bit about me:
I’m still a full-time design student myself, so I don’t see myself as a traditional “tutor”. Instead, I’d love us to build a friendly, mutual-learning relationship. We can learn from each other and grow together in a relaxed way.
That said, when it comes to teaching Chinese, I’m very confident. Born and raised in Guangdong, China, I’m a native speaker with excellent command of both Mandarin and Cantonese. My pronunciation is clear and natural.
Rather than using the same fixed system for everyone, I prefer to spend time understanding your goals and personally design lessons that best suit your needs and interests.

I’m a design media student currently studying at RMIT in Melbourne. I’d love to help you learn Mandarin!!
Whether you want to learn casual daily Chinese, prepare for HSK, improve your speaking confidence, or just get ready for a trip to China, I’m super happy to help!!
I’m pretty chill and flexible with my teaching. I don’t follow a super rigid system. Just tell me in advance what you want to learn, how long you plan to study, and what your goal is (or if you just want casual friendly Mandarin chats, that’s totally fine too). I’ll design the lessons around your interests.
Since I study design, my brain is full of creative and wild ideas. I’m also a big fan of suspense and detective movies, and I love playing games :))) With my open mindset, I’ll do my best to make every lesson interesting, easy to understand, and of course practical.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or already at an intermediate level, I’m always here to help you learn in a fun and relaxed way.
