About Kajal

I'm a Spoken English trainer. I have done my honors in English literature. I have been working as an English trainer in Speakwell English Academy for 5 years. I teach English grammar as well as spoken English. Currently I'm pursuing my post graduation in English literature.

About the lesson

I like my class to be interactive.My motto is to make the learner speak as much as possible. I teach grammar as well as Spoken English. In grammar, I teach basic as well as advanced grammar along with it's application. I also teach interview etiquettes along with personality development and conduct mock interview sessions so that the student doesn't lose confidence in his interviews. I take lot of activities in my class to make learning fun. Also for homework, listening and writing tasks will be assigned to you after every class. If the student regularly attends the class then within a month, one can see good results.

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
I have always been enthusiastic about reading novels. My father would bring me the most wholesome novels like the chocolate factory, Nancy drew, and fantastic five to name a few and I fell in love with the world of reading and English literature. So I knew I wanted to make a career in English literature itself.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
In school and tuition, I helped my friends in Maths and English. Teaching them made me realize that teaching helps me to get a better understanding of the topic.
How does your work help society?
My objective is to make my students become independent and travel all around the world with no language barrier. When there is no language barrier, it gives them the opportunity to do better in life, and at work, and therefore, make society a better place for everybody.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
I would choose Monika Walczak aka schoolofmodernetiquette. As somebody who used to struggle with social anxiety as a kid, her lessons have helped me to socially be more friendly.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
I am a sucker for travel. I always make sure to take short breaks from work and go on staycations or spend time doing absolutely nothing. I also like pigging out on food.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
It was in 2020, the institute where I taught, had shut down due to Covid-19. I was at home, unsure about what will happen next. I wasn't really sure about teaching online. Then a friend texted me asking if I could teach him and I said yes and the rest is history.
