Fundamentals and Technique (15-20 minutes): Dedicate a significant portion of the lesson to teaching or refining fundamental tennis skills and techniques. Focus on areas such as forehand and backhand groundstrokes, volleys, serves, and overheads. Use demonstration and clear explanations, and encourage players to practise the correct techniques. 3. Drills and Skills Development (20-25 minutes): Divide this section into various drills that reinforce the skills taught earlier. These can include rallying exercises, footwork drills, target-based drills, and cooperative drills with a partner. Adjust the difficulty level based on the players' skill levels, challenging them but keeping it enjoyable. 4. Live Play (10-15 minutes): Allow the players to engage in live play, either in singles or doubles matches. This gives them a chance to apply the skills they learned in a real-game situation. Offer guidance and feedback during play to help them improve their decision-making and strategy. 5. Perfect! As a complete beginner, I find Rushab very patient, encouraging, and effective in helping me quickly learn and enjoy tennis.
Perfect! Rushab is an excellent coach. I like his calm and methodical approach and manner. He explains technical aspects of the game and techniques in an easy to understand way. We have only had two lessons and yet I feel my technique has improved exponentially.. I am excited to see the further improvements I am capable of under Rushab’s careful and thorough tutelage!
