About James
I am studying Modern Languages and Cultures (French) at Durham University, but I took a year out before beginning my course to live in Paris. Here, I ascertained my TEFL Qualification (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) which gave me 120 hours of teaching experience.
On top of this, I have tutored during school as a "Language Leader" and successfully tutored a 10-year-old boy for his 11+ exam (Maths and English) during my A levels.

I'm a Durham University Student giving ESOL lessons to students of all ages and abilities, I mainly have experience with younger learners but teaching adults isn't a problem at all!
I'm happy to structure lessons around my students' ideas and try to involve your interests as much as possible, making the learning experience as realistic and rewarding as possible.
However, most importantly, my TEFL qualification has given me the key principles need to teach English to all nationalities, and to give my students skills that are applicable to both professional and more casual settings.
